What Starting Over Taught Me About Mindset (and Why I Created the WholeLYFE Blueprint)

Just two months ago, I officially left my corporate job after more than 20 years. It was a role I knew inside and out—steady, familiar, predictable. And while I’d been quietly building my health coaching business behind the scenes, stepping away from the structure and security of corporate life was a whole different story.

Now, every day feels like a learning curve. No handbook. No onboarding. No IT team to fix things when they break. Just me, a deep sense of purpose… and a lot of Googling. 😅


The truth? It’s been exciting—and also incredibly humbling.


I’ve gone from leading conference calls and running large-scale events to learning how to build landing pages, automate emails, and schedule Instagram Stories (who knew that was a thing?).


And I’d be lying if I said it hasn’t tested me. There have been days when I’ve felt totally overwhelmed. Moments where I’ve doubted myself. Times I’ve asked, “Who am I to do this?”


But there’s something else I’ve learned along the way—something I now believe with every part of me:

The key to lasting change isn’t just knowledge. It’s your mindset.

When everything is new and uncomfortable and you’re not sure what you’re doing… your mindset is what keeps you from quitting. Passion alone isn't enough. It’s your mindset that helps you speak to yourself with compassion instead of criticism. It’s what reminds you that progress comes from taking the next step and not worrying about if it's perfect.


Mindset Needs Support
